Earlier this week, President Joe Biden was quoted as saying:
“The only garbage I see floating out there is his (Trump) supporters”
He made a mistake by calling them garbage. He should’ve called them trash, because there’s a difference between garbage and trash. Garbage is the litter coming out from the kitchen and bathroom. Basically, it consists of organic waste, food waste, clothing, food containers, paper waste, etc.
Trash
Trash on the other hand is different. Trash means solid waste consisting of both combustible and noncombustible waste materials. Combustible trash includes paper, rags, cartons, wood, wood shavings, furniture, rubber, plastics, and brush; noncombustible trash includes glass, crockery, tin cans, aluminum cans, metal and similar materials that will not burn at ordinary incinerator temperatures.
When I see a Trump rally and I see trash. Trash casts a larger net than garbage. I see all the trashiness in all its trashy glory. You see all these trashy people walking around with their ridiculous MAGA hats and misogynistic signs and their crazy conspiracy theories and all the other trashy stuff that has nothing to do with the issues facing our country. If it was garbage, it would have been the bi-product of something useful.
My Advice to President Joe Biden
If I were President Biden, I would go back and tell everyone after prayer, contemplation, and long walks on the beach with Jill that I misspoke and revise my statement to the following.
“The only trash I see floating out there is his (Trump) supporters”
Remember to get out and vote on November 5th. The choice is clear between the two presidential candidates. You can either choose garbage or trash. God Bless America!
